Atlanta Eats: Southern Table Provisions

STP_logo_blackLet me just start by saying Southern Table Provisions is one of my favorite Atlanta businesses. It was fate that Courtney Lee, owner of Southern Table Provisions, and I would become friends. Who doesn’t need a gluten free chef on their speed dial?  After finding out I had Celiac Disease in September of 2011 (more on that later), finding quality gluten free food was at the top of to do list. Let’s just say #thestruggleisreal.

I meet Courtney in the Fall of 2012, when she was cooking up gluten free goodness in her own kitchen. I was so thankful I could be a taste tester during the early stages of business planning (lucky me!).  My husband (lover of gluten) was even more excited for gluten free food, that didn’t taste like cardboard and was actually delish!

My favorite Southern Table Provisions goodies

1. Caramel Coconut Chocolate cookies

You can conveniently pick these up at Land of a Thousand Hills Roswell this week. You can thank me later.

2. Pretzel Bites

Last year, these were the first things gone at my Super Bowl party. People could not get enough! You can order these directly from Courtney.

3. Red Velvet Cake Balls

Red Velvet cake in bite size form is one of the greatest things I have ever tasted. I picked these up at the last  Root City Market . The next market is scheduled for March 15.

4. Chocolate Chip Cookie Sandwiches

Soft and chewy chocolate chip cookies filled with the most delicious cream… need I say more?

5. Muffins, all flavors

One of my favorite places to write papers is at Land of a Thousand Hills Roswell. It is worth the trip OTP for quality lattes, delicious gluten free muffins and XK Macarons.

Happy Eating!
