Friday Favorites

Happy Friday & Valentine’s Day! Here are our favorite things from this week.

This week I have been taking advantage of my snowcation to prepare for my Ph.D comprehensive exams. I only have 11 days left until I take the hardest test of my life. Yikes! Luckily, I have these super cute Kate Spade notebooks to compile my thoughts from the last 4 years. My favorite thing about the notebooks are  the quotes they have throughout them & that they are small enough for me to throw in my purse. I picked mine up at Paper Source Lenox Mall. I hope you use your notebooks for something a little more fun. Wish me luck!

I recently have been on the hunt for new spring candles for my home. I picked up Bella by Illume’s “Sweet Sangria” candle at Target last week and I have used it every day since then. I love how crisp and fresh the candle warms up my living room. I cannot wait to buy more of these candles!

Thanks to Snowpocalypse 2.0, I haven’t left my house since Tuesday.  Needless to say I haven’t worn “real” clothes since then either, so these Old Navy compression leggings have been coming in handy.  They’re super comfortable, and the compression part is nice for hiding areas need to be, well…compressed.  Bonus: the whole Old Navy site is 15% through today by using the code EXTRA.

I am obsessed with Bath and Body Works candles.  They have the Destinations Collection out now, and there are several great scents. My favorite is Paris Daydream: City of Love.  It is a fresh and light scent that isn’t too sweet.  BBW’s 3-Wick Candles are regularly priced at $22.50, but they always put them on sale 2 for $25.  Not sure when the next sale will be, but this scent is worth it either way!

One of my favorite things is my cozy cable-knit throw from Pottery Barn. It’s so warm and perfect for a relaxing night-in. I got mine on sale at the Pottery Barn Outlet at the North Georgia Premium Outlets in Dawsonville, GA. It’s a little pricey but totally worth it!
