Supper Club of the South gets a logo!

Supper Club of the South has been itching for a logo. We have been looking for a special graphic designer that would be able to incorporate all six personalities featured in our group blog. All six of us are so similar but, also so different at the same time.

I was so happy when Kat agreed to design our logo! She is so incredibly special to me because she was my student during my first year of  teaching( seriously, how sweet is this?). Kat was always willing to try my crazy new teaching methods and projects without complaining. Her work is still some of the best I have ever received (In fact, I still show it off at conferences!!). Kat was a smiling face in my United States History classroom every day. I still can’t believe how fortunate I was to teach such a fantastic young woman. As a teacher, it brings me so much joy to see my former students succeed in life! I was so lucky to have also taught her sweet brother and work with her wonderful mother, a magnificent elementary school teacher and mentor (can you tell how much I love the Wardell family?).

Kat was so great to work with during the design process. I gave her a few key words and she immediately started sending me proofs. Kat’s process of having me select different qualities I liked from each proof made for a wonderful experience. I was so excited every time she would send an email. I couldn’t wait to see what she had designed!

Kat will be graduating from Georgia College and State University this May with a degree is Mass Communication and a minor in Marketing. She has already picked up a number of accolades.
