Saturday Site Love

Happy Saturday!

I hope everyone is enjoying the start of their long weekend. I have been running around trying to get an early Memorial Day meal ready for my in-laws. Due to the two “snowcations” I had this school year, I will be at work on Memorial Day.  Luckily, I have an awesome principal who has orchestrated a BBQ lunch (and I am pushing for a kickball game… humanities v. stem). I will let you know how all of that goes.

I’m still on the hunt for an outfit like this in my size. This is my Popie in the late 1920s (how cute is he?). Not only did he love America as a child, he went out to fight in World War II and work for the FDIC.

Our favorite links of the week are….

High school graduation is one of my favorite days of the year. I love watching my students walk across the stage full of excitement. I can’t wait to see how successful they will become. I am so proud I used to work at the school were this awesome speech took place. I promise you will love it and laugh hysterically.

While I dream about being at the beach this weekend, I am learning how to do beachy waves so I am ready for Hilton Head this summer and the pool.

Emily and I are both obsessed with Suri Cruise‘s blog and twitter. I am so thankful one of my girls, KB, introduced this to me years ago. Daily laughs are definitely guaranteed.

Did you know the owner of Levi’s does not wash his jeans? Thoughts?

What do you think about these foods that are lying to you?

If you are anything like me or LC, than you love SJP. I actually fell in love with her after the first Sex in the City movie (thanks for making me go LC). Now I can watch Sex in the City marathons for days.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Happy Reading!
