As you all know SCOTS ( Supper Club of the South) is so excited for Emily to get married in September! But what is better than one soon-to-be MRS? Two brides to be celebrating! Ally, another member of our supper club and JLA provisional group, is also getting married this Fall. We decided to host a lunch in their honor and below are some details from the special day.
We chose a very girly invitation with a matching calligraphed envelop from Polka-Dot Penguin.
There is no place in Atlanta for a ladies lunch quite like the Swan Coach House. Aubrey can give you a whole history lesson on the place, but what I know is the food, atmosphere, and location are perfect in every way.
The Swan Coach House is on the details. They have it down to an art, even taking presents when guest arrive and delivering them right after dessert so they do not clutter the dining room.
The menu is filled with many delicious choices for lunch. I am a big fan of the Swan’s Favorite signature chicken salad served in delicate hand-made timbales with their famous creamy frozen fruit salad. It is amazing! Dessert is a must for every party and the French Silk Swan is a classic.
The two ladies were showered with kitchen related gifts from their registries. Junior League cookbooks from their hometowns were a perfect personalized touch from one of the SCOTS ladies! So cute!
These yummy Braswell’s preserves were given as hostess gifts (so yummy and so southern).
These beautiful ladies were so fun to honor. September and October will be here before we know it and we can’t wait!
Who do you think the next in our group will be to get a ring on her finger?
