Our Table: Simple Georgia Peach Desserts

As a five year resident of the state of Georgia I am still getting used to how truly amazing the peaches are here in the summertime. This weekend I wanted to whip up a fancy peach dessert, but I ran out of time for fancy. A quick easy modification to a lovely dessert we had a supper club last month was a perfect fit. Easy, quick and delicious!


Peaches- 1 per serving

Sugar- 1-1.5 tsp per peach

Cinnamon- sprinkle to hearts desire

Granola (optional)

Ice Cream


Peal and cut peaches into small slices.

Combine peaches, sugar, and cinnamon. Put on medium to low heat.



Cook stirring frequently for 5-7 minutes. You are waiting for the peached to soften and make there own yummy sugary sauce.


Serve immediately with vanilla ice cream and granola if you would like an little crunch.
