Our Table: Best Restaurants in Atlanta for Game Day

With college football season starting THIS WEEKEND (I am a little excited!), I have been doing some research and scooping out the best restaurants and bars in Atlanta for my football watching! Anyone want to join me?!

Margs and a Trio from Tin Lizzy's Cantina

Margs and a Trio from Tin Lizzy’s Cantina

Big Sky Buckhead – Nestled in the middle of Buckhead Bars, Big Sky Buckhead recently opened a few months ago. I love their delicious food and gorgeous roof top! I am already craving their crispy cheese puffs!

Empire State Pizza & Growlers – Empire State is the perfect neighborhood, family run pizzeria in Dunwoody. They are famous for their 16 inch calzone! They also have an extensive beer list with many choices I haven’t heard of before.

Tin Lizzy’s Cantina – Eating mexican food and watching football at Tin Lizzy’s Cantina never gets old. Who doesn’t want to devour their trio while sipping on a mango margarita during a football game? Thank goodness there is more than two locations now – it fills up quickly so be sure to get their early before a game!

Taco Mac  (T.Mac) – If you grew up in Atlanta, Taco Mac was/is your go to wings and beer restaurant. If you are serious about your beers, join their Brewniversity! Taco Mac has pretty much every beer that you could think of and more!

The Ivy Buckhead – I have to admit, I had no idea you could order food and watch games at The Ivy until last fall. I was missing out! For those of you who love brunch, they offer a diverse selection of brunch items. Get there for brunch and stay for an afternoon game!

Dantanna’s – Dantanna’s is the place to be if you are looking for a sports bar that’s a little fancier than your average neighborhood bar. They have amazing food and an extensive wine and beer list!

Don’t forget to check out Kathryn’s tailgating dips
for you stay at home football watchers.
