Any good Southern lady knows that there are certain fashion rules…like wear your Sunday best to church (and football games), no seersucker or linen in the fall/winter, and no anklets. ever.
But some rules are made to be broken…like no white after Labor Day. I am all about all white errything (except to your friend’s wedding – do not do that). Here are some of my favorite fall and winter white looks:
Some of my fave winter white pieces to make pull of the look: this white sweater (with elbow patches!) is under $40, this jacket would be perfection over a dress or maybe even wide leg pants, Old Navy jeans are so reasonably priced so you can stock up on white denim there, this blazer from J.Crew could take you from spring all the way to winter – plus it’s only $80 with the code SHOPFORFALL. I’m still on the fence a little about white shoes in winter, but I love a good white sneaker – these converse and these Superga ones are good basics.
What do you think about white after Labor Day? Are you a rule breaker too?
