Sunday Site Love

Hello all! The hubs and I were out of town this weekend celebrating his cousin’s wedding at Fripp Island. We had the best time! The weather was even warm enough to lay out. Seriously… it doesn’t get much better than that.

The couple had their rehearsal dinner at the Bonito Boathouse. I can always go for a great caesar salad and steak! They got married on the Beach Club lawn, had their reception at the Beach Club and their after party at the Sandbar. What gets better than a wedding with shrimp & grits? It was absolutely perfect!

After a day of driving, we stopped at the Tanger Outlets in Locust Grove. I picked up a few staple pieces and can’t be more excited to wear them.

  • I picked up this sweater in champagne from J.Crew Factory.
  • I got the Gap Factory version of these pants for $20.
  • I was pumped to find the Loft Factory version of this top in white & black for $25.
  • I also picked up two sweaters (ivory and black) from Ann Taylor Outlet that have a silk back.

Recipe of the week:

I made this soup sans cubed chicken and swapped the egg noodles for gluten free noodles.

I boiled chicken and shredded it in my Kitchen Aid mixer to replace the canned chicken.

I’ve created a polka dot pumpkin using a spade drill bit. It was totally awesome and got lots of compliments. You can push the bit in a ways to create a tiny circle of light or you can make the circles sans the little light by not pressing so far into the pumpkin. Either way it was great.
