Our Table: Turkey Chili & Gluten Free Sweet Cornbread

Happy Monday! This recipe is a must to warm you up after today. My favorite part is that it doesn’t have to cook all day to be wonderful.

Recipe of the week: Turkey Chili & Gluten Free Sweet Cornbread


Turkey Chili {inspired by me and LC’s college roomie, Mal!}



  • 1 lb turkey meat
  • 1 can corn (drained)
  • 1 can black beans (rinsed)
  • chili seasoning (You can definitely buy a pre-made. I prefer this because I have all the ingredients on my spice rack/in my pantry.)
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 can tomato sauce




  1. Brown the meat.
  2. Add all other ingredients to meat on stovetop.
  3. Heat until warm throughout.

You can also cook in the crockpot after browning meat.


Cheese is one of my favorite chili toppings!


Gluten Free Sweet Cornbread

Follow recipe above except for the substitutions listed below. Cooking time may increase by 5 minutes.
