I really don’t need anything this year, but that doesn’t stop me from wanting all.the.things! Here are a couple of items topping my list.
I love reading the ManRepeller blog. In fact, I believe it was the first blog I ever read. She recently put out her own book, and I’ve been dying to read it. I also love a good coffee table book. A lot of times I just buy them for decoration, but I’m actually looking forward to reading Beauty at Home by Aerin Lauder. I really admire her style! I’m also a huge fan of Amy Poehler, and I’ve heard great things about her new book.
Tieks have been on my wishlist for a while, but I haven’t been able to justify the price for myself. They are supposedly very comfortable, and they fold up into a small pouch. Great for throwing in your work bag for days when you need to ditch the heels – also perfect for travel! I’ve also always loved these Tory sandals. I’m already dreaming about summer, and these would go with everything!
Moscow mules have been my new drink of choice, plus the copper mugs are so pretty! I’m starting to get into cooking, and one thing missing from my arsenal is a cast iron skillet. Things like that aren’t fun to buy for yourself so maybe Santa will come through. I love a scented candle (as long as its a subtle scent), and I’ve always wanted a Diptyque candle. No self respecting blogger is without one 🙂 I hate when I blow out a candle and the once nice smell just smells like smoke. This candle snuffer and wick cutter set would be helpful, and pretty on a coffee table! You can never go wrong with an Ashley Brooke Designs mug. I love the look of Agate Coasters, but have never wanted to spend money on coasters. Now that C.Wonder is leaving ATL (#RIP), Santa will be able to get them at a deep discount.
Cuyana is one of my favorite places to shop online – and by shop I mean browse. I love their motto (fewer, better things) and how the clothes and accessories are ethically made. The monogrammed makeup bag is perfect for travel. I’ve had my eye on the Alpaca cape for a while. I don’t know if I can pull off a cape, but I’m willing to try.
I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas!
