Steal, Save, or Splurge: Workout Clothes

Surprisingly enough, I am still going strong on my New Year’s Resolution to get in shape.  I’ve been going to yoga about 5 times a week and running (slash walking) to train for an upcoming 10k.  I’ve been wanting to add a little more variety into my routine, and luckily ClassPass has been nice enough to let me try out a month of classes around Atlanta.  ClassPass gives you access to tons of gyms around the area: yoga, pilates, crossfit, spinning, barre, and many more.  For $99 a month you can sample each gym up to three times a month.  I can’t wait to get started.  Nothing gets me motivated to work out like a new outfit so I put together a few options below.

STEAL: Old Navy’s activewear is hard to beat.  I don’t typically like to spend a lot on things I will sweat in so Old Navy is my go-to.  I have these compression leggings in several colors/prints.  They’re very flattering on and really comfortable for working out or lounging around the house.  I love an old, big t-shirt for working out sometimes, but especially in my yoga classes I think a fitted top works best.  No one wants a show during downward dog!  Old Navy’s sports bras don’t give the most support in the world, but it’s really plenty for my purposes.  I have them in almost every color.  You’ll notice I have Nike Frees in each outfit.  I feel like tennis shoes are one item that it’s important to splurge on.  These are my all time favorite tennis shoes.  So many great colors and they’re so comfortable!

SAVE: Aubrey introduced us to a new line called Fabletics.  If you fill out a quick survey, you can get your first outfit (top, shirt, and bra) for $25.  Otherwise the items are still pretty reasonably priced.  This tank comes in a lot of fun colors.  It has a built in bra, but I included one of their sports bras for ladies that need extra support.  The Salar Leggings also come in great colors and patterns.

SPLURGE: These Nike leggings are not cheap, but the bright side is they can take you from the gym to brunch (Or Barre to Bar as our friends Peachtree Roadies would say). They are definitely thick enough to wear with a  tunic and boots out on the town.  Double duty is always good in my book!  I’ve seen several girls sporting this Lululemon tank in class.  I don’t know if I can pull it off, but I’d love to try.
