Atlanta Eats: Buckhead Diner

The hubs and I recently went to Buckhead Diner to celebrate his 29th birthday. I still can’t believe he is 29. Where have the last eight years gone? We chose Buckhead Diner since we got a Buckhead Life gift card for Christmas and they had a great gluten free menu.

I was unable to enjoy the starting plate of bread, but the hubs gave him this seal of approval. He is a bread connoisseur, so I would take his word for it.

We started with the truffle deviled ham & eggs! They were delish.

I also had the wedge and it was yum-o! I subbed ranch for blue cheese. The additional redish orange sauce we incredible.

The hubs had the open-face salmonΒ BLT. He loved it!

I got the chili spiced mahi mahi sans avocado (#allergyprobs). The grits were my favorite part of the meal.

We ended the night with chocolate hazelnut caramel milkshake. It was extremely good. This may have been since I hadn’t had a milkshake in over a year… but I think it was incredible.

Would we go back? Yes! The service was wonderful. The server was very knowledgeable about gluten free choices. The only con was the seating. The booth seats are weird (it wasn’t our first time in the booths). I feel like they aren’t connected correctly. Plan a night at Buckhead Diner, get a milkshake and sit at a table.

Happy Monday!
