Atlanta Eats: St. Cecilia

For Valentine’s Day, my hubby to be surprised me and took me to dinner at St. Cecilia. I am a huge fan of anything and everything Chef-Owner Ford Fry creates and had been dying to try out this restaurant. I am also a fan of the Executive Chef Craig Richards so I knew St. Cecilia would not disappoint! Since we were there on one of the busiest nights of the year, there was a prix fix menu which featured some of their best dishes. Ya’ll – it was amazing. I cannot wait to go back and try more dishes. Also – if you are a fan of bearded men, 99% of the male servers have beards – weird observation I had!

We first started off with the cauliflower soup.

For the second course, we nibbled on the beef carpaccio and the snapper crudo.

For the third course, we thoroughly enjoyed the linguine and the paddardelle. These were our favorite dishes – you can’t beat homemade pastas!

For the fourth course, we ordered the wild striped bass and the hearth veal chop. Both were equally delicious and we actually devoured the bass so quickly that I forgot to snap a photo! The veal was the perfect kind of tender – it melts in your mouth. I will absolutely order it again.

Last but certainly not least – DESSERT. The most important course of the meal! We ordered the lemon polenta cake (forgot to take a photo as well!) and the tartufo de choccolato. Guys… the chocolate cake… I can’t even describe it was SO GOOD. We wish we had ordered two of them. The lemon cake was alright, but wasn’t our favorite.

Would Β we go back? Absolutely! It is a little more on the pricier side so we will be saving St. Cecilia for future special occasions.
