Atlanta Eats: Not So Vanilla Jane

This past weekend I was so fortunate to help host a shower for my sweet cousin, Jacki. The shower was a Baby Q. We wanted a laid back, co-ed environment. The theme definitely set the mood and made for a fun afternoon with family and friends. We used Not So Vanilla Jane cookies to help us pull our vision together.

How precious are these cookies?

My cousin, Laynie, hosted us at her home and everything could have not been more perfect.

Laynie had the most perfect banner created. How cute are these onesies and diaper covers?

The menu was simple. We had pulled pork, made by the fabulous Laynie (she really is a wonder woman), gluten free macaroni and cheese cups, slaw, fruit salad and cookies. We loved using this little guy on the table as well.

We had a variety of drink stands around the house adorned with hydrangeas and magnolias.

The chalkboard pig really made the beer and wine station.

A Sunday afternoon shower would have not been complete with out mimosas. We made our peach mimosas with this juice we found at World Market.

Instead of a traditional guest book, we opted for a book to go in Baby T’s room. This book is a classic.

All of the hostesses with the beautiful mom to be. We are so excited for Baby T!

If you would like your own creative cookies for your next event, contact Janie at She was a joy to work with and truly brought our inspiration to life.

Have you ever hosted a Baby Q? I’m excited to host another one in the future.
